A time to laugh and love

My mind is a noisy place with thoughts of family, writing, news (bleh), and more are always bouncing around. Every so often I get to turn that off (mostly) and have a day like today what was focused on celebrating events with family. They aren't "productive" days in terms of to do lists or work. These days are the ones where my family and I get to spend time with other family and celebrate the things happening in the lives of people we love.

Today we had a bridal shower and a birthday party. It was a good day. I got to hug some of my nieces and nephews. My family spent time with my parents. We made a few memories with each other. At the end of it all, our experiences with the ones we love are what matter most. 🥳
