Back home

It was a busy, enjoyable week at SAINTCON and now I am home again. The afternoon and evening was full of activity around the bathroom remodel. We had to buy a number of plumbing fixtures today and go over different options for the various for towel bars, etc. Remodeling projects are never fun. They seem to be full of high hopes and disappointments. The reality of having a small bathroom is the crusher of dreams.

To be candid, it’s not really that bad. We’ll have very nice main floor bathrooms when it is done and I think the one off our bedroom will be far more comfortable to use. I’m glad we are able to get it done because things that needed to hold water were threatening to fail.

I guess you just make the best of the frustrations and be grateful for what you have. Our home still has some major repairs due to its age and the quality of some of the materials. But it will work out and be fine. I just have to roll with the ups and downs.
