Juggling. Always juggling

The problem with wanting to be involved in things is that you are always juggling things that need to be done. At times it feels like everything is on fire too. I'm a chapter leader for a local web application security group. It's a great group of people and they are doing really important work in trying to teach others how to develop secure web applications. Unfortunately for me, I realized that tomorrow is our planning meeting and I need to update the board on what my plans are for my presentation at our chapter meeting later this month. Well crud...
So I spent tonight trying to configure two applications to play nice with each other so that I had something to say tomorrow. My attempts didn't work out as I hoped, but I guess that's what I should expect when configuring servers at 11:30 PM. On the plus side, I think I know how I'm going to do my presentation now. I'll take it as a small win.
Tomorrow is definitely going to be busy because I also need to prepare for a podcast that is being recorded on Friday. If you are interested in cybersecurity news, you can check out Security Weekly News. I'm subbing in over the next two Fridays for a host who is on vacation.
This week has been a string of reminders that I need to plan better. No book updates today. 😦
