Late night

Late night
Its been a long day

It's nearly 11:15 PM and its time to write. Well, it's past time. Unfortunately, I haven't stuck to a writing schedule, which means it's too easy to let the day slide past me. It's not that it was an unproductive day for many other measures. I actually took care of a number of things around the house and a long day at an appointment. Regardless, I haven't done any work on Mack Hawthorne and now I have to work later than I would like.

One of the things that I struggle with is not working on something when I'm the only one who is setting the schedule. I hate doing dishes, yet I did dishes instead of writing. (The dishes really did need to be done.) I sat down at my desk, and I had video game up. So I played a couple of levels. Oh look, YouTube! I watch a few videos. Then I realize it's late and I haven't done any writing.

I thought about just passing on it and going to bed. I'm feeling like Sleepy up at the top of this post, but I feel like I've been avoiding writing. Things feel a bit stuck right now, and that makes it harder to sit down at the desk. And like I've said before, one of the hardest parts of writing is the fight to get started. So for the last few minutes of the day, I will grind out Mack, Wes, and maybe Theodore leaving the city. (I'm still debating some stuff with Theo.)

On that note, it's back to Restaria.
