Mack image and remodeling fun

I’ve engaged an artist on Fiverr to create a picture of Mack and it should be done soon. It is something that I want to use for some inspiration and to share on blog posts. For a quick Fiverr gig, I’m pretty happy with how it has come out. I need to submit a revision tonight, but then it should be good to go.

I wasn’t able to do any writing tonight. We are preparing to remodel both of our main floor bathrooms and we spent the night looking at tile. Then we had to check what was left for us to pick out and Shannon is busy doublechecking the quote from the contractor. I know some folks really like picking out paint colors, tile, and designing things, but I can’t say that I enjoy it. It’s difficult to look at a few pieces of tile and imagine how it will all look when put together. I think it will look very nice when it is done, but in the mean time it is stressful.

The bathrooms have needed a remodel for a while now, but we’ve had some problems occur in both showers that have made this a priority to get done. The builder grade materials have started to break down and we’ve already had one leak from a crack in one tub enclosure wall. Hopefully, demolition will begin in a week or so. 🤞
