Map of Restaria

I spent part of today working on a map of the land for Restaria. The land mass is a lot larger than what I need for the story, but I‘ve got some ideas of something I could do with the eastern side of it. Restaria is north of the mountain range and the river coming out of them to the west. Magerak is to the southeast of the mountain range and south of the river. Mack and Wes escaped from the prisoner of war camp that is marked with a P. They went down the river to the southwest, rather than going directly to the border.

It was kind of fun working through this process. As I mentioned yesterday, I tried out George R.R. Martin’s method of creating Westeros. It made it a lot easier to come up with the shape of the land mass and start figuring out where to place things. I don’t know how well my placement of land features work in reality, but it’s how I’m picturing things. I still am struggling with names for the places on the map, but I’m taking some ideas on names from the geography.
