Master's degree complete
Today I received a notification from WGU that my last capstone paper had been evaluated and that I had passed! This was the last thing that I need to do for my M.S. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. I'm happy that with this accomplishment and I'm relieved that I'm done. It took me 11 months to complete the program and there have been a number of other projects that have had to wait for this to be done.
I need to sit down and figure out what is next. The book is obviously a big one, but I want to publish another online security class too. I need to build up some other sources of income for some of the dreams that Shannon and I have.
I haven't made any progress on the Mack Hawthorne project. I've been playing with the names of various places in the story. I have some ideas, but nothing set in stone. My current plan is to use this week for some brainstorming and research. Speaking of names, I also need to come up with some names for the book. It's fine calling it after my main character for now, but eventually I'm going to need to figure out something permanent.
I'm traveling for work, so I know this week is going to be a bit off my usual schedule. I'll still be posting here daily, but a lot of my research is going to be in small moments of time that I can grab.
