On track again

On track again
Back on track, but a long way to go

I did much better at waking up earlier today. I didn't have enough time to write before work, but I was up a full hour earlier than yesterday. It was nice not to get up and rush straight from bed to my desk for work. One of the problems with working from home is that it is so easy to get lazy about waking up. I'm fortunate that I've been able to work from home for so long, but this is one of the bad habits I've developed over the years. Still, I'm happy that I was able do better today. Now I just need to do better tomorrow.

Status update on the Mack Hawthorne Project

I took an hour tonight to ignore everything else and write on the book. Chapter one is complete and I'm about 3 1/2% done on the book. Mack and Wes have met up with a young officer named Theodore. It turns out Wes and Theodore knew each other. I hadn't really planned on that, but it made sense when I got to that point. The three of them have found a ride home, so the I'll pick up with them in their home country.

The chapter will need a lot of revision later, but I want to keep moving forward for now. Off we go.
