Progress... but not on the book 😔

I was able to spend two or three hours writing tonight, but it wasn't on the book. I'm so close to finishing this Master's degree. I'm about 3/8s of the way through the first of two papers that I have to write. To be candid, it's tedious stuff. This thing is getting in the way of several other things I want to do.

My goal is to have it finished before October 10th. If that sounds like an arbitrary date, it's because it is. My brother-in-law is getting married on that day and I figured it would be great if I could have this wrapped up by then. 🤞

Book project name

I've had family asking me what I'm working on at family events. I keep calling it "the book I'm writing." It sounds kind of vague that way. Mentally, I've taken to calling it The Mack Hawthorne Project. It sounds kind of like The Dresden Files. I'm not intending for that to be the title, but it has a fun ring to it while I work on it.

I wish I had more to say on things, but some days are like this. If all goes well my calendar will be a lot more open after 10/10.

The struggle is real y'all.
