SAINTCON Day 3
Today was the last full day of SAINTCON. Tomorrow is a half day and then we all go home. I'm looking forward to being back with Shannon.
Still, today was a really good day. John Strand of Black Hills Information Security gave a fantastic keynote today. I usually don't react strongly to keynotes, but John's was very thought provoking for me. At the end of his key note he really dug into providing a path into information security (cybersecurity) with as few obstacles as possible to as many people as possible. I think this answered a couple of questions that I've been considering for a while now. I'm really happy about that idea, because it sits better with me than many of the options I had been looking at.
Hopefully, some things that I've already tried to put into action will pan out and I can talk about them. No, it's not a job change or anything like that. It's just that others will have to agree to what I'm proposing and I don't want to say anything out of turn.

I did not do any writing tonight. My mind was busy with the day's events and I'm feeling pretty tired again. It was a good day, but a long one.
